Cleaning · restoration · sealing · Perth & WA
Clean it. Seal it. Keep it.
Three stages in the life of every exterior surface. Most buildings hire a different contractor for each one and pay for the gaps in between. Extera does all three, in order, under one certificate of currency.
The problem with a wash on its own
A clean is a date, not a fix
Washing removes what is sitting on the surface. It does not change what the surface does next, so the same growth, staining and weathering come back on the same cycle and the work goes out to tender again every year or two. The asset never actually gets ahead, it just gets reset.
What we do instead
Clean it, restore what's damaged, then seal it
The clean is preparation. Damage a clean cannot touch, etched and corroded glazing, scratched panels, staining welded into masonry, gets restored mechanically. Then the surface is sealed so it sheds water instead of drinking it, and the next clean is easier and further away.
What one visit changes
A rendered elevation, soft washed. Same angle, same day.
